Distance Riding Committee

The committee of Distance Riding consist of the following members:

Their role is to:

• Administer, manage, enhance, advance, promote and protect Distance Riding New Zealand.
• Promote the safety of all of our competitors as well as the welfare of all horses involved in Distance Riding.
• Recognise and acknowledge our member’s achievements.
• Organise and promote team competitions at both National and International levels.
• Foster, support, advocate and encourage the highest levels of horsemanship and sportsmanship.
• Promote fair and equal competition.
• Develop and enforce rules to govern Distance Riding New Zealand and ensure the standards, rules and reputation of DRNZ are adhered to by all Members and participants at DRNZ events.
